Avery Bowman is a talented 5’9 outside defender and mid who is great at getting up the field and into the attack. She is an every game starter for the SoCal Blues ECNL-R team.
Avery is someone that stood out to me right away when I saw her team play. She is big, fast and athletic with a 30-40 yard throw in, a strong leg for crosses to the far post and she’ll only continue to get better in the coming years. Avery is a good distributor that is calm with the ball. She does a great job of getting up the field after she passes and overlapping or continuing her runs for give and go’s. She regularly gets assists for her team as an outside back with her long throws and accurate crosses. She has a bright future in front of her and all the tools to be a well rounded player in college.
She has a 4.7 GPA and scored a 28 on her ACT on her first attempt. Avery wants to pursue either nursing or bio med for a degree. Avery wants to play in college somewhere that has an average to big sized city nearby so she has stuff to do outside of season that she’ll enjoy.
