About
Tana Sands is a dynamic starting Center Back on the Los Angeles Breakers 07 ECNL team. Tana is a fast, strong, defender who tackles like a truck and reads the game well. She has the unique ability to create out of the back, beat players using fakes, moves and feints to get downfield into space where she can draw players to her and then dish passes off to open teammates. She is calm on the ball and strong in the air.
Tana has a strong leg for diagonal balls and big switches to connect on second and third tier passes downfield. Tana has a great foundation of both athletic abilities and skill. She is a PDP player and was invited to USYSA national camp. She has already had a number of D1 coaches reaching out to her coaches about her.
