About
Skyler Matthews is a very versatile, fast, athletic box to box center midfielder who covers a ton of ground. She plays both sides of the ball and is good in transition. She is creative with dribbling moves, can rake and pull the ball to beat players and create space to switch the field or play a good through ball up the gaps. Skyler played club ball for La Roca Premier’s 03 team as a starter the past three years. Many of the players on that team graduated in 2021 and they didn’t have enough 22 grads so many of the remaining players switched to Utah Arsenal’s premier team where she will play for them this winter and spring.
