Sarah Stadler

Sarah Stadler is a 5’9 extremely athletic and versatile Attacking or Def center mid who also plays very effectively at forward and outside mid too. She is the starting center mid for her SC Wave GA 06 team. Sarah dominates the air with headers both offensively and defensively. She has good vision to switch the point of attack from side to side and to play a through ball up the gaps. Her two best qualities that make her a standout player are her ability to use dribble penetration to move the ball up the field and get by opposing players at speed, and her defensive prowess to tackle hard, win her 1 vs 1 battles and shut down the middle of the pitch for her team. Sarah was selected again as a top 30 region player for the GA league this month. She has also been selected 1st team All-Conference in high school for the second year in a row, as well as an ODP state team selection. 

Sarah is her GA team captain and she plays solid at the center back position as well. You can see some of that play from the back line in her film. She can score both left and right footed, and does a good job at reading and anticipating play. If she keeps developing an already great foundation of skill, she can become one of the elite players for her age at her position in the game.
