Samantha Ostrowski is a 5’8 starting midfielder for the Long Island SC Girls Academy team in New York. Sam plays center mid and outside mid interchangeably. She serves brilliant crosses from the flanks, has a strong leg for shots, and takes many of her team’s set pieces as well as most corner kicks. She is athletic, hard working and good at possessing the ball.
She is strong in the air and has a solid first touch. She shields the ball well and can do moves to beat defenders off the dribble. Sam is calm on the ball and able to connect passes. She’s a consistent every game starter for her team and carries a 3.7 GPA. She’s looking to wrap up her college decision in the next few months.
