Samantha Garcia is a 5’9 starting center back for West Coast 04’s DPL team the top DPL team in the country this year that finished 22-2-4 falling in a shootout of the national championship this month. Sammy also is a starter for the USL Orange Coast semi pro Academy Cup that just went 4-0 in the last Florida tournament bringing home the 1st place trophy. She guest plays for the West Coast GA team as well for some tournaments and games as a dual rostered player. She was a member of the SoCal G04 ODP team in 2019, where she participated in the Regional Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona. She has been a varsity starter every year of HS and frequently scores goals for her team from her defensive position taking set pieces and getting up for headers.

Prior to her current DPL team coming over to West Coast FC, she was a leader for her San Diego Strikers Premier team that was ranked top 4 in all of SoCal before recently joining West Coast. Her Strikers team qualified for nationals in 2018-2019 pre-covid shutdown. Sammy anchored their back line during that run. As the newest team to join West Coast they were slotted to play in the DPL league and have been thriving  as a top team nationally.  In the past 18 months her DPL team has also beat 4 out of the 5 ECNL teams they’ve played in tournaments and friendly games. Sammy has a 3.95 GPA and scored a 24 on her ACT.

Her new film was just added the last weekend of July 2021 that includes clips from the USL tourney finals that they won.
