About

Reece Scott is a transfer defender with one year left of eligibility for Grad school. Reece who hails from Toronto, Canada played her first two years as an All-Conference defender from Columbia State JC helping to lead them to the national tournament. While at Grambling State the past two seasons, Reece did a great job as a starter every game she was healthy. She broke her ankle in a game a third of the way through the season her first year, and this past year her senior year at GSU she helped the team as their starting outside back and occasional center back leading them to a 12-8-3 overall record with 10 shutouts while holding down the second best defense in the conference.

Reece is 5’8 and is also a member of the Guyanese senior women’s national team where she competes for them in international and full national qualifying events. She is strong on the ball, uses her body well to win and keep possession, she’s aggressive as a defender and gets her head up to possess after she wins the ball. She has a good work ethic, a positive attitude and loves to play soccer. Her strongest positions are center or outside back, but she can also play effectively as a six as well.

Academically she carries a 2.8 GPA in college as she prepares for grad school.
