Football Morocco/Africa and GCC Director

Coach Platini Soaf has a decorated background as a high-level coach and recruiter. Coach Soaf has been a US Soccer Federation Mentor/instructor for coaches taking the Senior A License as well as B through C national coaching license. He was a former Assistant coach for the Mexican National Team for the 1999 World Cup. He was on staff as a guest coach for Costa Rica’s national team in 2003. He was the Assistant Director and Ambassador for the World Cup in France in 1998 for all Adidas Grassroots events in Paris.

Platini has served as the head coach for all US Soccer Region IV girls ODP teams over-seeing the Olympic trials for all the US Western States teams and players. He was a former staff coach for the US Girls National ID camps as well as an assistant coach with the Women’s National team for events in Canada in Minnesota in 2001. Platini also coached the U17 USL Orange County Girls Academy team to a National Championship and is the Technical Director for the West Coast Football Club in California. He has dual citizenship for the USA and Morocco.

In total, Coach Soaf has been at the forefront of coaching at the highest levels for the past 30 years in US Men and Women’s Soccer with administration roles for training in Mexico, Brazil, Morocco, France, Canada, England, Costa Rica, Spain, Germany and Portugal.

Coach Soaf will be our recruiting Director for Morocco/Africa and the GCC.
