About
Mia Scranton is a speedy, athletic versatile player for the City SC GA 04 team. She plays a number of positions for them including forward, attacking center mid and can play outside defender. She is one of only three 2023 grads on a team full of 2022 grads who are all going to play in college.
Mia is very creative with the ball and skilled having the capability to do a great turn or move in traffic then get up field and serve a good through ball or cross to her teammates. She has a great first touch and can create space off the dribble and get by players. She’s a good distributor and plays a well placed and well timed ball. I think at the next level she’ll have a lot of value being able to compete for time as a forward, mid, or even a defender. She presses and defends well and is a physical, fast and strong player. She’ll be moving to the 05 team next year and playing with her own age group once the majority of her team moves on to college at the end of the summer.
Mia has a 3.5 GPA and wants to pursue a degree in meteorology or similar field.
