Mia Ruffalo is an athletic shot stopping GK from the class of 2026. She was is the starting keeper for West Coast FC’s Girls Academy team playing up a full year on the 07 team. Now that most of those girls have graduated, she switched over to the Sporting CA ECNL 07/08 team this fall and she’s excited to compete with them. Mia is 5’8, is a good vocal leader and organizer for her defense. Mia has a strong leg for goal kicks, punts and distribution and is skilled at connecting passes downfield. She has good range and mobility coming off her line to intercept crosses or to win 1 vs 1 opportunities. Mia logged 24 clean sheets out of 34 matches between club and high school she played in last year. She is open to playing anywhere in the country. She loves to train and work hard and is aiming for a competitive D1 program.
In the classroom Mia is a strong student with a 3.75 GPA. She wants to study Kinesiology or Sports Med in college.
