About
Malaya Ring is a talented and versatile player for her SoCal Blues ECNL team. She starts as a defender for them and has good size at 5’9, she can cover a lot of ground. Prior to joining Socal Blues ECNL, Malaya was the leading scorer for her West Coast GA team her underclassmen years, and then she transitioned to defense first as an outside back and then as the teams Center back. She has played for Pateadores ECNL and saw good minutes for them as a starter both on the back line and up top.
Malaya has a strong leg, some powerful shots and long ball services and she is good in the air and can score as a target player on set pieces. She is good in the air, uses her body well to win and possess the ball. Academically Malaya carries a 3.9 GPA in the classroom. She will be a 2025 grad and can graduate mid year and start spring season if her college team has interest in that.
