About
Lulu (Louisa) Fickes is 5’10 and is the starting keeper for the Real Colorado ECNL team, she used to play for the DA team as well before that folded and was an impact player playing a year up and named Development Academy GK of the week on TDS a handful of times. She has a strong presence in goal, is very well coached, has good hands, is great with her positioning and feet, and can make the big save.
Lulu is solid with distribution, regularly firing throws to teammates 20 to 30 yards downfield, she has strong punts that go 10 yards past the half and good goal kicks to the start of the center circle. Lulu has had D-1 schools reach out with interest, but wants the right school both soccer and education wise, education being probably the key thing for her. She has a 5.14 GPA, scored a 1390 on her SAT and wants to pursue a degree in Pre-med or biology.
LuLu was a member of the West Region ODP team, she has played up a year for Real Colorado since she was 13. She is also a varsity swimmer at her HS. Her first year being allowed to play HS sports after the DA folded, she took the starting varsity spot from a 3 year varsity starter, only allowing one goal against her all year leading her team to the state finals. She is also a varsity swimmer at her HS. LuLu was honored as a Top Drawer Soccer DA Standout in both October and in March the last year of DA.
