Lily Barton is a creative 2027 grad forward and outside mid that plays for the Utah Avalanche ECNL-R 08 team. Lily is a very high IQ player who doesn’t panic under pressure. She has the ability to post up, beat players 1 vs 1, and most importantly for an attacking player, she can score. Lily has a great shot, and has the ability to combine with teammates and serve accurate crosses in as well from the flanks.
She was an integral part of the Olympus High school team winning the 2024 state Championship title. Her speed and hustle allows her to be dangerous on the flanks and create goal scoring opportunities for her teammates. Up top, she prefers to play a posting forward where she can be the target player, hold and dish the ball to teammates or turn her defenders and go 1 vs 1 to goal.
Lily’s team competed in the 2024-2025 USYS National League quarterfinals in Arizona, earning their spot to the semi-finals in Oceanside, CA. They’ll be competing in Surf Cup in July and November, and then the ECNL-R showcase in December of 2025, and Players Showcase in Vegas in March of 26 if you are interested in watching her play in any of them. She is a multi sport athlete and holds a 3.5 GPA who wants to pursue a degree in Psych or Sports Therapy.
