About
Kylie Smith is a very technical attacking player for Real Colorado National ECNL team that’s ranked top 5 in the nation. She has a high soccer IQ and does a great job knowing when to push the attacking pace, go at players, or pull it back and slow things down. She is superb at passing and possessing the ball and connects with teammates on numerous crosses and for assists. She has a rocket for a shot and strong crosses.
Kylie is also very good at going at defenders 1 vs 1, swiveling her hips and cutting it inside to switch the field or push it down the flank to get separation to get off a cross. Defensively, she does a good job to press when called for, and also hustles back on defense in the transition to help her team. She’s a smart disciplined one vs one defender and doesn’t dive in often. Her team made it to the National Playoff quarterfinals this past year and have been state cup champions in Colorado from 2016-present. In high school, she has been a varsity player every year, was All-Conference as a freshmen, covid cancelled sophomore season, then had an injury Jr year. Her senior season starts soon.
She has had a few D1 offers already, but is looking for the right fit both academic and athletically. Kylie has a 3.5 GPA, scored a 22 on her ACT and is still deciding on her major. She is coached by Lyle Lebere # 720-837-9586, and Lorne Donaldson.
