About

Kate Wilson is a very speedy athletic 5’7 center back for her West Coast GA 06 team. She anchors her back line which was one of the top defenses in the country in 2021 helping the team to finish 3rd in the nation at the Girls Academy playoffs. Kate is an every game starter who is a vocal leader, aggressive at chasing down loose balls and connecting with teammates to start the attack. She has been a West Coast team captain for the past three years and is good vocal leader who organizes her team. She tackles hard, can cover a lot of ground and wants to play for a competitive Division 1 program in college. Kate is listed as a 3 star athlete by Top Drawer soccer and was selected for the Southwest/Northwest GA ID Camp from her team.

Kate also plays on occasion defensive center mid. She was the only freshman on the varsity team for her Aliso Niguel High team and is 3 year varsity player and starter now. For varsity track, she had the fastest 400 meter time on the team finishing with a sub 1 minute time. In 10th grade she expanded as a key athlete for the 100m, and 200m relay teams too.

Kate carries a 4.0 GPA and wants to pursue a degree field in health care or marketing. Her team is coached by Doug Swanson #714-334-4559 and DOC Platini Soaf 858-518-4729.
