Kate Kubiak

Kate Kubiak is a 5’8 very athletic versatile center mid. She is a 2024 grad and is one of the team captains for the West Coast GA 06 team that finished third in the nation last year in the Girls Academy playoffs. Kate scored two goals and had an assist in the third place game to help lead them to a 4-2 win. She is an every game starter.

Kate is a good athlete and covers a lot of ground in the midfield. She is good at reading plays and winning the ball in 1 vs 1 situations. She is a good distributor and can play a nice weighted or diagonal ball over the top to an onrushing teammate, switches the ball well, and can play the ball up the gap for a well timed thru ball. She is a good decision maker as far as not forcing the pass if its not there and pulling it back to possess and move off the ball. She is dominant in the air for her team winning headers, especially around the goal to give herself scoring chances and finish. Kate was also selected to the GA Regional ID Event for the Southwest Region this year. 

Academically she has a 4.3 GPA and wants to pursue a degree in Kinesiology in college. Kate is looking to play for a competitive Division 1 team. Her team is coached by Doug Swanson who’s contact info is 714-334-4559.
