Kate Howes just listed in the transfer portal after playing two seasons with the University of Portland on scholarship. She was a regular player for them coming in as a sub at outside mid and flank forward contributing to U of Portland’s NCAA qualifying run in 2022. She does have some film from college if you ask.
She was a starting DA player and key player for La Roca FC 03 team, now she starts in the ECNL league when the DA folded. She’s the fastest player on her La Roca team and can really get up and down the line and create havoc for opposing defenses. She’s one of the youngest players on her 03 team, most graduated this year. She is dynamic going at players at speed with a ball.
She is a true lefty, and can play on either side of the pitch with success in the midfield. She has also been utilized as an outside left back and does well going forward and getting into the attack. Kate go’s at opposing defenders with pace and creates a ton of scoring opportunities with her crosses getting in behind opposing teams defenses. Kate has a 3.5 GPA.
