Kami Hekekia

About

Kami Hekekia is a 5’7” setter from Queen Creek, Arizona. A starting setter on American Leadership Academy Queen Creek’s varsity team since her freshman year, Kami received two region awards. Her varsity teams over the past 3 seasons have been ranked as high as #5. Kami also started as the outside hitter on her club team and enjoyed the opportunity to improve as a hitter and passer. Because of the high level of play and experience on the court Kami volleyball IQ has continually increased. As a setter should be, Kami is a leader and communicator on the court who hustles to every ball to make a hittable set.

Kami is an honors student with a 3.9 GPA and wants to be an aerospace engineer, but she’s also open to criminal justice. Her ultimate goal is to play on a competitive volleyball team while she pursues her education.
