About
Jemma Catherwood is a 5’8 outside defender and mid on the U-17 New Zealand National team that qualified for the Olympics. Jemma has been competing for their top national women’s league for the last few years as one of the youngest players in the premier league to see significant time. She is proficient at outside back so she can use her size, speed and attacking ability to get up the field and into the attack. She also sees significant time as an outside-mid that’s very technical.
She is looking for a competitive mid-major Division 1 program to continue improving her play in hopes of making the full women’s national team someday. Academically Jemma has a 3.7 GPA.
