Jaxson Mcewen is a talented 10th grade dual sport athlete who is one of the only Varsity players that suits up and gets in for a top 5 basketball team in Washington State. Jax  is a 6’3, 220lb guard/forward from the class of 2026.  He plays high school basketball for Kamiakin High School (in Kennewick, Washington) and AAA Basketball for South Washington Select. His AAU team will be playing in the Puma NXTPRO circuit this Spring/Summer. This season Jaxson averaged 15pts, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 block and 1 steal a game. Jaxson is one of the top shooters in Eastern Washington shooting 44% from 3PT, 50% FG and 85% FT this season. Jaxson also plays football for Kamiakin High School that finished 3rd in state this season. Jaxson currently holds a 3.83 GPA in honors classes.

Jaxson is also a great football player ranked one of the top football players in the state for his age. His club football team placed 4th in the nation in FBU’s national tournament a few years ago. Jaxson was selected that year to play in the 8th grade All-American football game as on offensive lineman and was a starter and captain for the All-American game played in Jerry World (AT&T Stadium), the home of the Dallas Cowboys. Jaxson is expected to grow another 2-4 inches in the next year. Both of Jaxson’s parent played college ball, dad volleyball and basketball in college, and mom D1 soccer at UVU.
