Jacey Martinez

Jacqueline “Jacey” Martinez is an impact player, starter, and team captain for Platini Soaf’s West Coast FC’s GA 04 team. She has a blast for a shot and can score from 35-45 yards out in the run of play and on set pieces. She is skilled technically and can dribble and do moves under pressure and beat players. She is good at combination play and keeps her feet moving after passes. She is fast and athletic, works hard to pressure and defend in the midfield and is solid on the back line when playing defense, winning her 1 vs 1 battles. She understands supporting shape and shifting and knows when to slow things down and possess the ball. In high school she was 1st team All-League, All-Conference, and team MVP as a Sophomore.
