About
Samantha Danaher is a fast, athletic and talented Center Back and Dcmid for Nationally ranked West Coast FC’s 08 Girls Academy team. Sam is one of a few players playing up a full year for the undefeated GA team ranked 1st in the Western US and 7th in the country. Her coach plays her at both Center back and at Defensive Center mid. She covers a lot of ground, is good at reading the game, and is superb at distribution.
Even though she is a younger player, she is still a vocal leader and huge influence on the team, has been the team captain for the past few years and she demands respect with her commitment and dedication to the game and her team. She has a 4.3 GPA in the classroom and is still deciding on a degree field for her future, maybe business, math or law. She is open to playing out of state and out of region. She was also just named team MVP as a Sophomore on Varsity this season and honored as an All-League selection.
