Current Iowa State University players dad on his family's experience working with CSP

CSP worked with Lauren H. and a few dozen of her SC Wave Girls Academy teammates in the last three years helping to find them offers to the right types of schools. Lauren is one of the team leaders now on the Iowa State University soccer team.

Susan Hill on getting her daughter NCAA offers

College Sports Prep helped Peyton Hill get over half a dozen NCAA offers in just a few months and sign with a D1 program

Peyton's mom was a former NCAA D1 player herself, and a club coach at a high level for the Pateadores Club in CA. But finding good offers was still hard. CSP offered our service and with a matter of months things took off for Peyton and she had 7 NCAA schools pursuing her to play in college.

The Kassenbrock family

CSP helped Anni commit to U of Iowa then U of Lamar

"We had an exceptional experience with the College Sports Prep recruiting program that helped place our daughter in a top 20 Division 1 soccer school. From the beginning, the College Sports Prep team demonstrated a level of personalized service that went above and beyond our expectations. They took the time to get to know our daughter not just as an athlete, but as a person. They understood her strengths, goals, and aspirations, and used that knowledge to guide us through the recruiting process. The relationships Justin and his team have with college coaches is impressive and gave us great comfort.
What stood out the most was their genuine care for our daughter’s well-being. They were invested in finding the right fit, both athletically and academically. The team made sure the school she chose aligned with her values and future goals, rather than just focusing on the soccer aspect. Their support was not just professional, but personal—they were always there to answer our questions, provide advice, and reassure us during this important time. This support did not stop after she was placed. My daughter as well as myself reached out several times to Coach Wagar and he was quick to respond with advice and help.
Overall, this program truly understands the significance of finding the right college environment for young athletes. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome, and we’re grateful for the attention and care they provided throughout the journey. The process of recruiting can be grueling on athletes and their families and College Sports Prep and Coach Wagar made the process seamless and exciting! We cannot say enough about this recruiting service."

Recommendation from the Ollendorf family

CSP assisted Amy in her recruiting journey to play soccer at the D1 level for Elon U.

Story as told by Max her dad. "Amy Ollendorff reached her dream of playing collegiate soccer for a D1 program. She’s an upperclassman now at Elon University. Justin Wagar and College Sports Prep were absolutely critical in her journey.
Here’s how things unfolded around 2020: Thankfully, I had recorded a bunch of sideline videos of Amy playing during her club career in the DA and GA leagues because the Covid pandemic pretty much wiped out showcases and tournaments during the crucial recruiting window for the class of 2022. For us, Justin took a two prong approach.
He guided us to reorganize our collection of video clips into a tighter presentation that would best convey Amy’s attributes and catch coaches’ eye. He then tapped into his extensive network of coaches and helped to identify and focus in on several compatible schools around the country that were looking for players like Amy and her strengths which were solid academics, speed, athleticism and grit. Amy visited several schools and was weighing her options when Elon University’s coaches agreed to watch Amy’s video (perhaps only as a courtesy, because they had finished their recruiting a few weeks earlier). Within 10 minutes of watching Amy in action, they called and invited her to an in person try out. The next day we put her on a cross country flight from California to North Carolina. At the end of that day, we got a call from Amy,“Mom and Dad!! They offered me a spot!” Amy did a lot of the leg work, but our most humble thanks to College Sports Prep for their critical role putting our family on this path."

Annamarie Bezzerides (Marina's Downing's Mom) talking about the value working with CSP brought

Marina worked with CSP to get a D1 offer, then two years later again to get another D1 opportunity

We are incredibly grateful for the recruiting support from College Sports Prep. Having been in the DA, and later the GA league, Marina was faced with the challenge of graduating in the high school class of 2022, which had been impacted by COVID shutdowns, particularly in CA, where there was little opportunity to play for months on end. Added to the impact of minimal proper training and playing opportunities during the COVID era, she was also recovering from a torn ACL. Together, these factors made what had been a strong early recruiting experience coming out of the 9th-grade grind to a screeching halt. With a lot of uncertainty hitting her and her parents on the college front, we were fortunate to engage with Justin Wagar in the Fall of her senior year. He worked with Marina patiently but directly in a way that took me, the parent, out of the process; he guided her to build her highlight reel on her (despite not having a great deal to work with as a result of shutdowns and injury). And, importantly, he empowered her to engage with many coaches looking for the right fit, leading her to commit to Eastern Washington for the Fall of 2022. After her first two years of college soccer, it turned out she made the giant (and nerve-wracking) leap to enter the spring transfer portal, and again, the College Sports Prep coaches supported her to find her new home, another D1 program. Oakland University in Michigan. It has been a perfect fit for her, and she’s thriving going into her senior year. Marina grew through the recruiting process as well as a student and an athlete; there are no regrets about navigating being a transfer. I can't say enough about the value of working with College Sports Prep, and I will double down on that in the face of the headwinds of the changing NCAA landscape. -Annamarie M. Bezzerides
