Mika Maldonado is a technical high IQ outside defender/CB for her Sporting CA ECNL 07 team where she has been a starter on their back line for a number of years. Prior to Sporting she played for Strikers ECNL out of Irvine and was a starting defender for them too. Over the years she has been a guest player for showcase events for Seattle Crossfire ECNL.
Mika reads the game well, jumps passes, and can possess and find good targets downfield. Mika does a great job at shifting and being an option to receive. She has been well coached and can compete for mid Major D1s, Top level D2s but wants a great academic institution for her education.

For high school Mika is a 4 year Varsity Starter for Oak Hills High where she’s a 1st and 2nd team All-League defender. She’s a team captain leading them to 3 consecutive CIF playoff bids with one conference title. Academically she’s a 3 year Honor Student with a 4.1 GPA looking to go into health sciences or Business for a field of study.
