About

Terra Rybuck is a 2023 grad Goalkeeper from Winnipeg, Manitoba. She played for the past two years on the Southwestern Oklahoma State team where she became their primary starter leading the team to the playoffs in 2023.   Her freshman year of college Terra helped her team to a 1.59 GAA while posting a 74 percent save pct. Her Sophomore year she did even better posting a .795 save percentage, and dropping her GAA down to 1.48 while making honorable mention All-Conference this year as a top 3 GK in the conference.

She is a well rounded complete Gk who has a strong vocal presence in goal, soft hands able to secure one touch saves. Terra has good range and is able to get to the high ball shots and crosses and parry them over or make a touch save wide. She has good distribution and aim with her punts, goal kicks and throws. Her team trusts in her to drop the ball back to her under pressure knowing she’ll make a good choice and can connect passes down field. Her film is broken up into three categories, shot stopping is featured above. Here is her college clips of corner kicks and cross saveshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgcYCgrXBpU
Her distribution plays can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7X2uk8eoxd8

Back in club, Terra played for the Premier Women’s team FC Starz in the City Premier division, even though she’s from Canada, she commuted down to train and play with the team. One honor she is proud of was being invited to participate in the Japan Football Association GK selection camp (which is a national training center in Chiba, Japan) which was 20 goalkeepers from the country, she was the only foreign based keeper invited). In 2021 she made the Manitoba training and travel team where they finished runners up in the women’s division at the Saskatoon World Cup and in 2022 were undefeated champions at the SX International Cup in BC.

Academically Terra carries a 3.83 GPA and she wants to pursue something related to Exercise Science in college.
