About
Maisie Merino is a strong, fast, and physical center back from the class 2026 class. She is a 1st Team All-State Defender for TX 6A classification and plays HS ball for Rockwall High. Maisie is the starting CB and can play outside back as well for her TX Sting ECNL-R 07 team. Prior to moving to Texas this year, she was a starter for her La Roca FC ECNL-R team. Maisie is great in the air winning headers. She reads the game well, can make solid tackles and is a good distributor.
She has a 4.0 GPA in high school and wants to pursue something business related. She is open to pursuing offers from NCAA Division and D2 programs. She’s already been on one D1 official visit this year and aims to make her decision by this winter.
