About
Brae Cole is a skilled technical center mid that is transferring from the University of New Mexico Lobos team. Originally she was recruited and played for Washington State University where she played in 2 games as a true freshman for a team that made the second round of the NCAA tournament, Brae was on the 18 player travel roster. She medical redshirted in 2023 her first season with the Lobos. In 2024 she played in 16 games for UNM at the center mid spot.
Brae’s greatest attribute is her vision and brilliant distribution abilities. She can switch the field on 30 to 40 yard passes hitting her teammates in stride. She has a great leg for set pieces and corner kicks whipping in crosses and makes good passing decisions on the ball. She is good in the air with heading it and makes smart checking runs to make herself an option to receive the ball. Prior to college Brae played for Real Colorado Nationals DA, and then ECNL teams where they attended the DA playoffs in 2019, and then ECNL playoffs She was an ID2 Camp invitee in 2018 and National training center player 2016-2018. She has two seasons left of eligibility and wants to find a program where she can compete and utilize her skills.
