Eliza Collings

Eliza Collings stands out as a talented and versatile goalkeeper, showcasing exceptional leadership and commanding skills. Currently the starting keeper for both Avalanche ECNL 07 and the varsity team at Lone Peak High, a nationally ranked 5th team based in Utah, Eliza is open to playing out of state and seeking a competitive D1 soccer program to further elevate her game. Known for her vocal presence, she possesses remarkable communication with her back line, adding a powerful and commanding dimension to her on-field performance.

Awarded as Utah’s top XI as the single Utah GK amongst all classes to receive this top honor, and having secured the starting varsity goalkeeper position as both a freshman and a sophmore, she played every varsity minute for Lone Peak’s nationally ranked 6A team. In 2023, Eliza secured the all-time 6A Utah record for shutouts, boasting an impressive tally of 16 shutouts in 21 games during the 2023 season. She played a pivotal role in leading her team to the 2023 state championship title, with only two losses recorded in two years. Recognized as the MVP in multiple region games, Eliza received prestigious awards such as All-State First Team Goalkeeper and All-Region First Team Keeper. 

Eliza’s capabilities extend beyond vocal leadership. With big punts reaching 10 yards past the half that have resulted in several assists, precise goal kicks, and strategic decision-making in distribution, she excels in various facets of goalkeeping. Quick off her line, agile with her feet, and secure in her saves, Eliza’s goalkeeping range is evident in her ability to make diving saves to the corners, positioning her among the elite keepers in her age groups.
