  • Dino played for the Rose Bowl Champion Oregon Ducks team in 1994-1995 season
  • He accumulated over 1,000 all purpose yards in his two seasons with the Ducks while scoring 13 touchdowns
  • Rushed for over 700 yards with 7 touchdowns his final year at Oregon while adding an additional 200 yards and 4 receiving TD's
  • Dino clocked an impressive 4.31 forty-yard dash time. He was then drafted in the 6th round of the NFL Draft in 1995 by the New England Patriots
  • Played in the pro's as a RB and kick returner for five years including stints for the Patriots, Carolina Panthers, the New Orleans Saints and then NFL Europe and XFL.
  • Dino was also a college track star for the Ducks, and was also drafted in the 14th round of the MLB draft for the Cleveland Indians prior to college

Dino Philyaw is a former multi-sport athlete from Dudley, North Carolina. Drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 14th round out of high school, he later shifted focus to football and track at the University of Oregon, where he helped lead the Ducks to the 1995 Rose Bowl. A standout sprinter and running back with a 4.31 forty yard dash time, Philyaw was selected in the 6th round of the 1995 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. He went on to play for the Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, NFL Europe, and the XFL. After his football career, he became a successful entrepreneur in Eugene, Oregon.
