Dara Tamburrelli is a smart, driven and quick attacking center mid for her Slammers ECNL-R 06 team. Dara starts for them at acmid, but can play effectively as an outside back too which is what she plays for her varsity highs school team. She received the Coaches player award as a freshman on varsity. She’s comfortable on the ball with excellent vision which enables her to make well timed runs, dish the ball and receive it in dangerous places on the field. Dara can shred defenses off the dribble raking the ball and using moves, and has good vision to switch the field and connect passes.
Dara regularly creates goal scoring chances, has a tremendous work ethic and makes soccer a top priority on and off the field. She has great pace and attacks defenders off the dribble at speed. She communicates with her teammates and coaches very well both on and off the field. She has played in the D1 CIF Finals, Athlete of the Year, National Honors Society, ASB Senate, CSF with multiple Player of the Game Awards. She also was selected for the CA ODP Pool.
