Baseball Coach/Recruiter
Chris Miller brings a career resume that features playing and coaching success at every level.
Miller attended the University of Oregon, where he was a two-time first-team All-Pac 10 quarterback. He set 13 school records for Oregon. He then went on to be a first-round pick (13th overall) for the Atlanta Falcons in 1987, where he spent the majority of his 10-year career. He led the NFL with the lowest interception percentage in 1989. His best year came in 1991, where he threw for over 3000 yards and 26 touchdowns, a season that ended in a trip to the Pro Bowl. He also made stops in St. Louis and Denver.
Miller was also a gifted baseball player where he was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 5th round of the MLB draft. He played in the minors for three seasons having his best year his last season. But then he chose to focus on his NFL prospects where he played for a decade and later served as the QB coach for Kurt Warner and the Cardinals in the NFL.
In 2005, Miller was inducted into the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame for having made a significant contribution to sports in the state. In 2024 Miller worked for an NIL company as a Regional Recruiter Director focused on talent acquisition and identifying Scholarship opportunities, and finding Transfer Portal athletes new colleges to play at.
