About

Ava Drizos is a steady, consistent midfielder and defender for her Pateadores ECNL 05 team. Ava is a great decision maker with the ball picking out targets downfield to distribute to and can connect regularly for second and third tier passes. She takes her teams set pieces and is smart on the ball and chooses the best option to go to that gives her team the chance to possess the ball and to score. Ava is ambidextrous and is equally strong with both feet, but she is a true lefty. She primarily plays at defensive center mid and at center back and is an every game starter for her team.

Ava has great positioning and shape to support the ball. She shifts well and can play one and two touch balls to her teammates. She isn’t afraid to play physically and make a tackle or get stuck in on a 50/50 opportunity to win the ball.

Academically she carries a 3.2 GPA. Her family is moving to Tennessee this summer and she is open to playing anywhere as long as it’s a good fit.
