Anni Franz

About

Anni Franz is a powerful and very technical 5’7 goalkeeper from Utah who is a D1 college transfer entering the portal this May of 2024. She can’t talk to college coaches until that time. Anni is a scholar shipped freshman at UND, where she competed as a team top 2/3 keeper throughout the year, travelled and suited for most games. She is looking for somewhere a tad bit warmer. Ann has a great work ethic and attitude. She puts I extra training time and is the type of player that shows up early for practice or stays late frequently to put in the extra work. 

Prior to UND Anni played for 7 Elite Academy 04 SABA in Utah. and played for La Roca’s 05 premier team. She is explosive off her line, great with her feet, has driven and precise distribution with punts and goal kicks well past the half. She played every minute of every game as the fulltime GK and as a team captain for La Roca. She is a good communicator and leader on and off the field. She has a 3.94 unweighted GPA and plans to major in pre-med or nursing. She graduated with some college credit prior to enrolling at UND, and has kept her grades up while in college there. She is looking for a good academic university to continue her education and soccer career. After she enlists in the transfer portal window the opens May 1st, then she would love to talk to other colleges about transfer opportunities. Her head coach Chris Logan said he would be a good reference for her character, work ethic, and abilities for those that wanted insight.
