Anna Wheatley

Anna Wheatley is a 2022 grad outside defender and center mid that plays for Mississippi Rush. She has played for a number of competitive teams in during her high school years including FC Dallas ECNL team, ECRL team and Mississippi Rush DPL team as well as being a Rush National Select team selection since U-13.

At 5’6 Anna is strong, fast and athletic. She is brilliant at getting up the flanks and into the attack. She serves a good diagonal ball cross and can connect with her forward targets. She likes to combine on the outside and has a good first touch, she can do dribble moves to beat players and has a powerful shot. Anna is a physical aggressive player that also has the patience to break down her feet on defense and wait for her moment to win the ball.

She was selected to the Mississippi High school All-Star team, USYS Midsouth Conference Best XI selection 2020-2021, and was aa high school All-Conference Selection since 2019. Anna has a great fitness level and runs a 5:35 mile time. Anna is looking for competitive D1 programs to play for.

She has 4.13 GPA and scored a 30 on her ACT. Kenny White is the MS Rush DOC 601-624-3766. Her FC Dallas 04 ECNL team (formerly DA team when she played) was coached by Aaron Gordon aaron.gordon@fcdallas.net   She liked playing for FC Dallas but the distance for driving to home games and or practices to travel was too great for them to keep going to driving through two states to make it there. So she switched back to playing for Rush in her latter years.
