About
Amelia Sagadin is a center midfielder for the SC Wave Girls Academy 06 team. She plays both the six and the eight positions very well and occasionally gets the opportunity to play as a posting forward. Amelia is smart on the ball, a good distributor who sees the through ball and switch opportunities. She is a good defender in the middle of the pitch and isn’t afraid to body up or win her 50/50 battles.
Sagadin is good in the air winning headers and is a good vocal communicator with a positive attitude and good work ethic. She carries a 4.1 GPA and scored a 26 on her ACT in her first attempt. She’s pretty open to majors for college, she likes forensics, sports med, or pre med fields. Her team will be playing in the playoff showcase in Jersey this summer if you can make it out to watch them compete. Amelia said she will consider playing anywhere geographically as long as it’s a good fit.
