About

Nate Watson is a gifted 6’2 point guard from England that was the starting point guard for the U16 UK National team that won the Asia cup. He is listed as one of the top youth players in the country. He was the starting guard for Sussex Storm leading the team to a final four finish at Nationals both years while averaging 15.7 PPG as the team’s point guard. Nate was selected to play for the UK50 team with the top players in the country and he was starting guard for them playing in the Asia Cup versus other top teams from the world where they were tournament champions defeating Top 10 world ranked teams that included Spains Youth National team, the Australian Youth National team, and the Chinese Youth National team to take home tourney honors. 

 
Nate is very quick and with great ball skills as he can drive, do crossovers, stop and go at full speed and get to the rim, or pull up for a jumper. He has good vision for passing and sees the floor well. He’s a lockdown defender on defense and is a good leader for his teams. He has led his team in three point shooting percent and threes the past few years shooting a blazing hot 44 percent behind the arc. 
 
Nate chose to play his senior year here in America where he competes for Mercersburg Academy, a prep school and league in Pennsylvania to prepare him against some of the top U19 players and teams in the East.  Nate averaged just over 18 PPG with them for his AAU team this summer leading them in 3 point shooting and shot percentage. Nate has a 3.8 cumulative GPA and scored a 1330 on his SAT.
